"THE LAST FIVE YEARS"
Book, Music and Lyrics by: Jason Robert Brown

The Last Five Years premiered in Chicago in 2001 and was then produced off-Broadway in March of 2002 . Since then it has enjoyed numerous productions internationally.

last five years

A contemporary song-cycle musical that ingeniously chronicles the five year life of a marriage, from meeting to break-up... or from break-up to meeting, depending on how you look at it. The Last Five Years explores a five-year relationship between Jamie Wellerstein, a rising novelist, and Cathy Hiatt, a struggling actress. The show uses a novel form of storytelling in which Cathy travels backwards in time (beginning the show at the end of the marriage), and Jamie travels forwards (starting with the couple's first date).

DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER
by Marc Camoletti
Adapted by Robin Hawdon

Bernard is planning a weekend with his mistress. He has hired a gourmet cook, is packing his wife Jacqueline off to her mother's, and has invited his best friend, Robert, to provide an alibi. It is foolproof. What could possibly go wrong?

don't dress for dinner

Suppose Robert doesn't know why he has been invited? Suppose Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers? What happens if the cook is mistaken for the mistress and the mistress can't cook? Mix these ingredients and you have the recipe for an evening of hilarious confusion... where nothing can go right!

An evening of pratfalls, mistaken identity, and immoral activities will leave the audience rolling in the aisles.
