Ionia Community Theatre
2013-2014 Season

Ionia Community Theatre, Ionia, MI (ICT), is a Michigan non-profit corporation established in 1967, which is dedicated to the presentation of dramatic and musical theatrical productions for the Ionia County community.

Each year, ICT presents at least $1,000.00 in college scholarships to those pursuing their education in the performing arts.

ICT volunteers are always needed! There are so many opportunities to be involved - maybe you would like to work backstage, build stage sets, sell tickets, make costumes, serve on a committee, do makeup or hair before a show, produce or direct a show, or even act or sing on stage! We need you to make ICT a thriving community theatre! - Volunteer today!

The best and easiest way to support the Ionia Community Theatre is to become a Member of the Ionia Community Theatre.  There are numerous membership levels to choose from, which even include tickets to all ICT shows every season.  Check out the opportunities available to become an ICT Member!

The Board of Directors consists of twelve members who are elected by our membership annually to serve three year terms.  There are also several committees that exist that our board and members can participate.

Loosely based on the 1979 movie starring Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly, Xanadu uses rock music to tell the story of a young man with a very big dream. Sonny hopes to bring new life to a forgotten theater, and he is helped (and hindered) by none other than the daughters of Zeus! TEN songs from this show became hits for Olivia Newton-John and ELO, including “Evil Woman,” “Strange Magic,” “Suspended in Time” and “Have You Never Been Mellow.” Bring the whole family for a dazzling disco time!
